Spicey Wine Pot Roast

2 pounds top loin steak

1 onion

1 package brown gravy mix

1 cup water

1/4 cup tomato sauce (ketchup)

1/4 cup red wine

2 teaspoons mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon mixed herbs -- dried

parsley -- to garnish salt and pepper
